Still my favorite farmers market in the Kona area even though more and more of it is just items people import from catalogs. You will find some local art here as well as local fruits and flowers. A lot of the fruit is now straight from Costco and presented as local so be careful about what you are after. Still though, if it looks good and smells good who cares if it came from Costco. Be sure to negotiate everything since the prices are often high. They should move quickly either lowering the price or more often adding quantity for the same price. This is a primary income stream for many locals. Massive avocados for $2-$3 each. Single one makes a bucket of guacamole at your condo. Great bouquets of local flowers for $10-$15.

Free parking is nice, but watch for some vendors reselling Costco produce. Not everything is "homegrown" choose your items wisely. Otherwise it's your standard souvenirs and sarongs and tshirts. Worth a stroll through. Gets kinda crowed though. And HOT.

It is a place where you can buy local and exotic fresh fruits and vegetables and has a good selection of souvenirs. It has an unfriendly vibe and I am always in a hurry to buy what I came for and leave. The farmers markets on the Hilo side of the island have a more welcoming atmosphere.

Good collection of souvenirs and trinkets. A few produce shops, with a couple of locals. I'd rate it higher but I'm not a big fan of overpriced tourist bracelets, so just personal preference for 3 stars. It was a good walkthrough though

Very good farmer's market. Lots of fresh fruit. Ask the vendor to chop it up for you for a reasonable charge. Friendly people. Lots of inexpensive souvenirs particularly for children and young girls. Clothing, purses, etc.
