These guys are awesome! We had such a great time with the lesson. They are super helpful and happy, we were laughing and smiling the whole time. They really cared about us and made sure we had a fantastic experience learning how to surf. They made me want to take up surfing! Highly recommend.
Mike and his crew were so awesome. There were 5 of us in our group and we all had an amazing time. We were all able to get up within the first few times. I was impressed by the company's overall concern for safety. They provided rashguards and rubber booties (for sharp rocks) for everyone at no additional cost. The guys were so knowledgeable and fun to work with and just super nice. Also best price around for time spent in the water. Highly recommend!
My wife and I tried to squeeze in a surf lesson on the last day of our Big Island vacation with Kona Mike's. On the morning of the lesson, Mike called me and said there weren't any waves and gave me the option to cancel. I really appreciated how upfront Mike was and put integrity and the experience ahead of a quick buck. Although we didn't get to surf with Kona Mike's, I recommend you give them a shot on the basis that they seem put their students' experience first.
My brother and I got our lessons from Mike and his crew. These guys rock! We had a really easy time getting the basics down. Mike and his crew are really cool and we caught some good waves! I highly recommend them if you want to get some surf lessons.
These guys ROCK!!!! I'm a local surfer who plays in the water while this company runs their lessons. No matter what their clients always have a smile on their face. They are safe and offer amazing photos too. I highly recommend them for your surfing needs.
