I attended Tara's self-defense class for women and had a blast. It was informative and I feel I have a chance of defending myself if the need ever arises. It was a small class so there was a lot of one-on-one attention and time to practice the kicks and getting out of holds. I don't have kids and have not been involved in other martial arts classes, but if they are run with the same professionalism and enthusiasm than I'm sure they're great.
