So many choices so little time. This place definitely lives up to the hype. We had the breakfast special with fried mahi and garlic rice and it was on point! The server was super friendly and helpful, and we really loved eating at this place. Seemed like a lot of locals there enjoying it too. They are pretty quick too, not that you should be in a rush if you're in Hawaii, but just another positive if you're on the go.
What a great place for breakfast! Lots of choices and authentic Hawaiian items like SPAM, Kailua pork hash, etc. this is our third time here this week, and all was good. Be sure to get the breakfast potatoes (like a loaded baked potato with bacon, cheese, chives) vs hash browns. Prices are amazing! $6.49 for a 6 oz sirloin and egg plate and the steak was amazing! Some coffee houses nearby charge more than that for 1/2 biscuit with some egg on it!
This is by far the best local breakfast spot in Hawaii, not just the Big Island, but all of Hawaii. The food is never just good, it's exceptional. Incredibly affordable and great portions. Fast service, and very friendly staff.. I try to eat here once a week or more. I can't say enough about this spot!
Finally, home cooking! Great food, shocking low prices. 1 lb steak and eggs $13. And it tasted great! they were super busy, but it's worth the wait. Service was fast and consistent. Good coffee.
Great food! Fast service! Our party of 14 was definitely taken care of! It's small so if you go in with that big of a party expect to sit in different places, but also expect a friendly and effective staff.
