Quiet in afternoon... nearby restaurants
If your looking for the 'Mainland' style Movieplex experience, you won't find that here in Kona (many of us are glad for that!). But if your looking for a good theater to catch that new release (even if your just on vacation) this is a good theater with food, music, and other necessities in the shopping center as well.

Our family favorite theatre on this island. Very friendly staff, very clean, awesome rewards program, great location. Though I must say I'm not too fond of the prices at the concession, I think it's ridiculously outrageous! Overall though we love this place.
I enjoy going to the Regal Cinemas in Kona. Accordinly, there are only 2 movie houses in Kona and both of them are Regal theatres. One of them has 10 screens and the other has 7. Further more, they rarely take a chance on independent films. For the most part, the film's shown are Hollywood Mainstream. Seats are comfortable enough, screen was ok. Theater itself smelled like cats.
