Nice theater friendly staff, in dire need of an update though, some seats are worn and broken. The theater was small which isnt bad, but just something to be mindful of. All said nothing to complain about, but nothing to rave about.
I was very impressed with the young gentleman at the refreshment counter. What great customer service he gave to my husband and I. Very charming!! Also, the lady that sold us the tickets. She came back to the counter to help out. She was a riot. So funny and so nice. It was a pleasure to be treated with respect. It was our first time in your theater, we will definitely be back. Thank you.
I give this place three stars because the staff was friendly (5 stars!) and welcoming and the movie played without any problems. The only draw back was the smell in the theater. The thick cushions of the red velvet seats smelt like when you leave items in your washer too long before throwing them into the dryer. I had to keep my hand over my nose so I could smell my hand lotion over the musky mildew.
The condition of the theater wasn't as bad as I feared, though I was glad that I was warned to check out the condition of the upholstery before sitting on it. Otherwise, the theater was comfortable and the film was presented acceptably.
They want $6.50 for a cup of water. That's ridiculous and absolutely unjustifiable.
Nice theater, comfortable seats. The rows are steep so people sitting in front of you will not obstruct your view. Great place to kill time if you are waiting for your flight out of Kona.
