I went in since my water-damaged phone needed to be replaced. The representative admitted to have had little to no sleep the previous night, was rude, tried to lecture me for a few minutes on water-proof vs. water-resistant terminology (which was irrelevant given the phone was a Samsung S7 Active model that is supposed to work in 5 feet of water). He then proceeded to give me erroneous information - firstly saying there was no ATT exchange program for water-damaged Samsung Active S7s (incorrect), and that my phone was no longer under manufacturer warranty (incorrect). Luckily the system didn't allow him to make an insurance claim for me (with a deductible of $150) since my phone was in fact under manufacturer warranty. Since I had to buy a short-term cheap phone, he charged a $25 'activation fee' (half the price of the phone), even though the SIM card was simply transferred from the water-damaged card to the new one.

NOTE: I've been a loyal AT&T user since getting y first cellular phone in 1991. It was the the "Loyalty" team who treated me as if I didn't matter. Funny how little I feel valued right now!
Advice to management: please make sure your employees are receiving enough sleep to be respectful and diligent with customers.
The clerk at the local AT&T store messed up our account with A&T and caused us to be charged for service for a phone we were no longer using. AT&T refused to refund the full amount. AT&T will not have my business any longer once my current contract expires.
This is a full service AT&T store just like you would find on the mainland. They were unable to help me with my bricked iPhone X, but they were nice anyway.
