I needed specialized track lighting to go with some track light heads I had, and the big box stores couldn't help so I went to the "specialists". I told them the make and model and they ordered the parts, for $200, and even batch shipped them to save me shipping costs. Problem was, the tracks weren't even close to usable as they were 2 contact tracks while my heads were 3 contact. So, my options were to toss the heads and buy new ones at another $200 or return the parts and find another solution, which is difficult from Hawaii. If I had been told what I needed wasn't available I could deal with it but I waited 3 weeks on the parts and then they were not right. I finally found another source for lighting heads that will work with these tracks (didn't want to give this store any more business) so had to throw away $200 worth of heads, and then spend another $200 to get ones that would work with these tracks. Plus, I remember the days when track lighting was the cheap solution, alas no more.
