My dryer broke down so I went there just to dry my laundry. After spending $5.00 to buy their card and putting in $3.00 in it from previous laundry, I was told we cannot just use the dryer! Bad service!!! How can a laundromat business say you cannot use the dryer?! They should not be a “Laundromat”! I can see if they were busy, but there was only one other customer in there. Their policy dose not cater the customers needs. Koodos to Tykes laundromat that doesn’t have policies like wash n go and provide great customer service. I wouldn’t even rate wash n go one star.
If a machine is out of order it is clearly labeled. The place is kept rather clean. The dryers require 30 minutes to dry a load but the price is reasonable.
Like it there very clean n easy to wash n dry plus save money than any other place, but there is one thing, they use card, just like a credit card so easy to u than coins.. very friendly, humble, n helpful people.
I highly recommend for locals and visitors! As we entered the laundromat and looked around very confused, we were greeted by big smiles from two of the attending women. Cards are needed for all the machines, and one of the women was quick to recognise that we hadn't been there before. She gave me a card I could borrow, rather than pay the fee for a new card, and showed me how to top it up. One of the other women then showed me how to use the washing machine, and when I mentioned I didn't have any washing liquid, she quickly offered her own, along with some softener. Our clothes came out clean, and the washer and dryer was easy to use, with the clothes coming out nice and fluffy. Great experience all around :)
