Bob was a great guy to work with! We were planning a vacation to Hawaii with the family and I found his website and seen good reviews...he lived up to those reviews! My family isn't the best at knowing what to do behind the camera, but he was great telling us a couple easy poses to remember before getting started. He made us all have actual smiles in the photos because he knew just what to say to get us to relax and have a good fun time with it. He was also got our pictures sent to us very fast! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!!
We worked with Bob to take family pictures at beach at Mauna Kea at sunset. He was great to work with, we had a lot of fun, and the pictures were perfect, couldn't believe we got so many different quality shots of the four of us. Now have them framed in house, den and office, capturing very fond memories. All around great experience, I'd highly recommend Bob for your Big Island photos!
Bob did our wedding photos and we loved them! He has a way of storytelling with his photos that makes them come to life. He's really creative with his shots and can capture a moment with everyone's emotions all wrapped up in a beautiful photo! A few years later we finally got the family all together in one spot again with a new addition, and the family photos were just as wonderful as the wedding photos! He is super easygoing, and will keep in mind any specific photo requests you have and somehow fit them into the sessions. For example, my daughter and my mom have bonded really closely, and I requested some photos that would somehow showcase that if the opportunity happened in the shoot. Of course that's not something you can "set up", it just happens, so he was able to keep that in mind and caught several candid shots of just that, the bond between baby and grandma. After the family shoot, I was kicking myself because I forgot to ask him to catch the relationship between my dad & brother (they are two peas in a pod). But a couple of days later I got the photos and was so excited to see that he was able to candidly sneak those shots right in! Thanks Bob I'm sure you'll be hearing from us again!
Wow is all I can say ! Bob did a Fantastic job at capturing our very special & moving wedding ceremony. I look at our pictures& I can relive each moment with the pictures he took. Bob was also very unobtrusive in the flow of the ceremony , there were times we forgot he was there but yet somehow he was able to catch unique shots from every view point. Bob is extremely talented & has an artistic eye for meaning photography. Thank you so much Bob for these lasting memories.
