I keep trying to go there and do my share to do the right thing. I donate and I buy things....but the prices are getting out of control. Today I saw some flooring that had the Home Depot sticker of 88 cents per square foot but the Habitat for Humanity price was twice as much. Their prices are based on ORIGINAL retail prices, not comparable prices. I brought it up to the nice lady working there but she said even though she agreed that it is their policy not to go lower. Their posted policy states to bring it up to them, so I did. All that I got out of it is that I was made feel guilty that I even spoke up. Just wanted to share... I feel the concept is great but the system could use some improvement.
A perfect place to go to find used furniture as a lot of the major hotels use them when they change their Furniture over quite a large number of bark into the people they are outstanding like all habitats
