Kona Weddings made all our dreams come true. Living in Michigan and wanting to get married in beautiful Hawaii could have been a challenge but with the help of Bob and Lisa everything was easy. The ceremony was intimate and nice. The location was absolute beautiful and just screamed “ROMANCE.” The pictures of our special day are beautiful. Bob is a wonderful Pastor and provides a simple but spiritual ceremony. Lisa was very supportive throughout the entire experience. We had no worries!!! We needed our pictures and video quickly for our reception back home and Bob and Lisa worked with our time line to ensure we received everything we needed. Thank you Lisa and Bob so much for making our day such an AWESOME and UNFORGETABLE experience. Just book your ceremony, book your trip, pack your bags and enjoy! We originally were not going to do the full photo shoot as we were trying to keep the costs down. THANK GOD we elected to upgrade. The pictures were breathtaking! Priceless! Thank you Kona Weddings for our dream come true, picture perfect no-hassle wedding!
WOW! Kona Weddings and specifically Bob and Lisa were absolutely wonderful. Our dream wedding came to life as an affordable price! WOW! We elected to elope to the Big Island to get married on our own. They were instrumental in helping us from the moment we landed until the ceremony.
DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES! please trust me when I say Bob is the most corrupt 'officiant' you could hire. I'm 99% positive he was half drunk when he showed up to our wedding, he was also clearly in a fight with his wife, who was our photographer. Their unhappiness completely threw us off but we rolled with it and the ceremony was okay besides that very awkward scene. However, afterwards he promised dates for pictures, pics never came, made excuses, promised other dates, those pics didn't show. After I called him out on the misleading over the phone, he threatened that the pics would never be sent if we shared our experience online as I said I would be doing. Well bob here's your review. You eventually sent unedited pics but people need to know what they're in for. To this day my husband and I joke about whether we're legally married. It wasn't funny then though, and I still can't believe you did what you did to our most sacred and special time. Find anyone else to use for your wedding package
Kona weddings made us feel comfortable from the very first phone call. Lisa and Bob were always available by phone or e-mail as we live in Houston, TX and they are on The Big Island and 5 time zones away! We had a very small ceremony on Secret Beach that was chosen after discussing that we wanted a private event. From the flowers to the vows, they made us comfortable at every turn. And then after we were husband and wife, we were shown the most beautiful photos of our special day that completely captured the moments we will remember forever.
