Very clean, good service and easy access to beaches, restaurants and off the beaten path lava tube

Wyndham is the big timeshare company. This place is where they show you the benefits of "vacation ownership" with them. Every time you go on vacation with Wyndham, the conceirge at your resort has discounted rates for the activities you may want to do--if you attend an owner update. From their point of view, they are helping you get the most from your vacation ownership. From the chicken's point of view, (yours) you are being sold some things that maybe you can't really afford, don't really want in the long term, or that maybe you just don't understand. These people really do understand how the system works, and it seems like these sales presentations, or updates, are the only place to have someone teach you the fine points. I wish there were webinars, or on line tutorials--(maybe there are), so owners, or potential owners, could be more informed on how the whole business works. When you go into one of these presentations, there's pressure to buy before you leave as all the incentive offerings will evaporate if you go home and think about it. There has to be a better way than buying on the emotional sales pitch and pressure. This last visit, I did not buy any more stuff, but it was valuable to me in that I learned more about what I already own and a little bit more about how the system works.
Would have been fun, if they would have accepted no as an answer the first 5 or 6 times. Beautiful property... Really pushy sales rep

My family and I was at the resort a few days before Christmas 2017. I am writing this review while we are still here. During our stay some in the office made a terriable mistake and gave our unit to someone while we were still occupying it! When they realized what happened they appeared to minimize the incident and we felt very diminished. They gave us a basket of treats for "our inconvenience" never taking into consideration that our personal belongings were at risk as well as our safety(a family member was sleeping when this total stranger walked in). As an owner I was completely disappointed in the way thos was handled. I have friends and family members who are also owners. I have told all of them not to consider putying anymore time and resources into Wyndom.
