I call to get an estimate on some work, was told I would get a call back in 10 minutes, 30 minutes later I called back and was sent directly to voicemail. I know I'm new to the island but that is horrible costumer support I won't be taking any vehicle here.
I was in a situation where I had a lot of work I needed and I needed a really good price to pull it off, so I checked all over town and Ayer's gave the lowest quote. I only knew about them because they support local groups that I care about. I took my car in at 8am, showed them the diagnostic paperwork from a competitor to have the work done. Not only did they quote lower (about half that of other garages), they called me later that day to tell me that 90% of the work was not at all necessary and they explained and showed me each recommendation and why they thought it unnecessary. In total, I saved $1,500 by calling Ayers. They could have easily done the work since I was already convinced that I needed it. They showed me honesty and for that they have a new loyal customer. I am thrilled with my service at Ayers. I worked with Jim and Joe and they were fantastic.
