I cant believe the guys working in this tire center still have jobs. the slow pace was quite obvious. i was the 8th vehicle and it took 3.5 hrs the savings on the tires was not worth the wait. will never do that again.
UGGHHHhhh. Came all the way from Kalapana to get 4 tires. I knew it was first come, first serve. I was 5th in line at 6:55am. They open at 7am. Doors opened at 7:06am. We all file in. One associate at the counter. 1st guy is waited on.
7:10am someone finally brings the cash drawers to the registers (shouldn't that be done at 6:45am?) 7:12, a second associate shows up and waits on the second person. She ordered a tire on-line, it's was in the shop. Associate says he has to find it. Lady asks how long will it take to change the tire. "Hour, hour half" says the associate. WOW!!!!!! An experienced tire guy can dismount/mount and balance a new tire in less than 10 mins. I know, I've done it and I only learned the tire changer machine one day.
Even with an appointment plan on two hours to get your tires changed. Really, really slow.
Called today at 11 am to check stock on 4 tires, employee says they are in stock com on down. I arrive to find a long line and no employees behind the counter and the phone constantly ringing and no one is answering it. After 30 minutes of waiting I am offered assistance, and now I am told the tires are not in stock, there was a computer error and they only have two tires, not four. I am then told that I need to order the tires online when I get home, and that they were unable to order them in a timely manner....ARE YOU SERIOUS...?!?!? I asked the employee, when the tires arrive will I be installing them too....She said no, they would and to allow 3-4 hours for an install.....Costco tire center.....you are a JOKE....!
Cheaper than other place on the island. Bring a book!
When I heard up to 90 mins for one tire I Google searched reviews on this place. Sure enough, many complaints on wait time. I figured 4 tires would be over 4 hours. I walked out of line at 7:20am and looked in the shop. No cars on the lift, and they were just connecting air compressor lines. Went to Lex Brodie, got 4 tires in an hour while waiting in an air conditioned lounge with TV and coffee. I fell asleep in one of the 4 recliners. Less than a $20 difference in the price... only because Lex Brodie's didn't have a $70 discount for 4 tires. The time saved, and the nap was worth the $20
