A nice condo with full kitchen, washer and dryer. The Poke take-out restaurant next door is also fantastic.
If you opt for the extra sofa beds to accommodate a family, no worries, the sofa-beds are very comfortable and easy to assemble back.
This place is AMAZING! Unit 405 is very clean & very comfortable. The remodeling mike & his wife did is beautiful. The lanai has the best view around. My husband and I sat on the lanai most of the time when we weren't gone exploring. You can sit back in the comfortable chairs and see everything from it, beautiful waves, sea life, surfers, boats, and a gorgeous sunset. Mike has stocked the unit with everything you could need. It was also very easy communicating with mike before we arrived. If we travel back here in the future we will stay here. Simply amazing!
We enjoyed our full kitchen which was stocked with dishes, glasses, silverware, pots and pans, and many other cooking items.
Castle Kona Bali Kai is in a central Kona coast location and is a close distance to several beaches and public shoreline access points, which makes this a must stay spot. I will return!
Condo 409...Enjoying the views and the surf. Our unit is quite nice. Thing are relatively kept up here. This is a condo comex built in the 70s, but most all amme ities are met. Nice location a few beaches close by and a jaunt into town is but 5 minutes.. OR you can grab the trolly that runs and stops here. In the evenings hang out with other guest at the grills.. I fell asleep on the lanai most nights to sound of surf.

Staying in a condo at the Castle Kona Bali Kai is the only way to go. Not sure if they offer smaller rooms but I fully recommend the condo. We had a full ocean view and even spotted a sea turtle on the rocks in the beach area in front of us, from our lanai.
The private washer and dryer in the room was awesome and convenient. Your room will come with one complimentary detergent but you can get more at the front desk for $1.50.
The set up of the hotels are basically like cute apartments, I loved it more then I thought I would. They have a pool and jacuzzi, with adult hour swimming at night. If you want to go swimming at night, don't go in the Jacuzzi first, you will freeze trying to adjust the pool water after. Trust me, it happened to me. Pool first, jacuzzi after, to make it enjoyable. They have a laundry room (you have to insert money to use it), the laundry room is in the bathroom, which can only be accessed with a key, so no worries about strangers going in and out. The pool is fun and spacious.
