This hotel is awesome! We stayed here in 2014, 3 years later we are back to Courtyard Marriott and are very happy with everything! Great service, clean rooms, housekeeping service is very good. All staff members are very nice and willing to help. There is a coffee shop, ABC store, shaved ice store locate don the property. The hotel offers different entertainment options to do. Luau dinner is the best! I also went to the spa and absolutely loved it. One of the best things that we tried this time is their buffet. On weekends they have a great seafood buffet. I recommend everyone to try it. Aloha!
The hotel is nicely situated in Kona coast but the hotel rooms have old composite TVs and are artistically styled from 2004. There are some maintenance problems such as the shower in out particular room not producing hot water. Other than that the Honu restaurant was pretty good and had American Continental offerings. The small beach and kayak rentals in the front are a nice touch.This hotel is 30min from the Airport.
Very nice hotel, close to the airport. Close to the major beaches you'd want to see on Kona side. Even has it's own small beach and pool. Room was a nice Hawaiian style room with a bathroom door that slides. Great experience here. Would stay again if I ever get to be on the island again.
Rooms are on the small side. If you are planning on family vacation, there are no rooms with 3 beds or even 2 beds and a sofa. 4 people max per room, and that's with sharing the 2 beds. Better for couples alone or a 3 person group. View is amazing, over looking the bay and Island Breeze luau. Many shops including ABC store, coffee, and shave ice are on the premesis. really amazing place!
Gave one star because the location is great. Hotel needs major renovations and upgrades. Bathrooms are disgusting. Drainage problems with tubs. Black sut coming up. Toilets have issues with water constantly running. Very dirty. Customer service not that great. Front desk employees, I feel like they don't want to work here always in bad mood. This hotel is motel status yet paying for hotel status.
