Fantastic views from our condo, although it was a little neglected despite "being upgraded". We received notification that the condo has changed hands, so if we go back to Big Island, we would consider trying it again if we wanted to stay in Kona. Less than a mile walk to the little downtown strip of Kailua-Kona, with some good restaurants and some with really great views.
This is an older condo, but the view from our fourth floor was amazing. It is near the harbor so you can see the canoe teams going out to paddle. The surf and bird sounds remind you that you are in paradise!
