The place is fairly noisy, as it is on a main road corner, and there is noisy pedestrian traffic.
There was so much to do in this place. Parasailing was awesome, saw dolphins playing in large pods, and the water warm.

My problem, this time, was that my toilet ran off n on, day n night and ceiling fan buzzed constantly! Hotel Services came to check it out...hung out for a little.Was mentioned, or asked, if I'd be okay to switch rooms, but nobody came or called. I mentioned it was the worst room so far as I come here yearly. Hopefully get a better room next time? Nonetheless, Seaside is awesome...just not that room.
Reception Staff never smiled during our sign in or departure. The housekeeping staff were very friendly though.
The location is pretty nice and it's close to the shore! The rooms are reasonably sized to house multiple guest in a room. Also, all the rooms come with a balcony and a nice view. The bathrooms are nice, but lacks any lock mechanics. Finally, the service is great. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The maids are friendly and good at their job.
Great location right in front of King Kamehameha's palace. Not the friendliest staff, but the hotel has bicycles available for their guests to roll around town. Great places to eat within walking distance and 20 minutes away from my favorite beach in Big Island. The room is nothing fancy. Not dirty per se, but a bit run down. All in all not a bad deal for your money though...
We stayed here because we missed our flight and it was one of the closest hotels to the airport. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were neat but dated. The room had a small Lanai but not much of a view but you only need walk outside. Very affordable and worth the price. It's also surrounded by a lot of shops and places to eat so the location is also a plus.
We chose this place for its close proximity to the beach and everything it has to offer. The handle of the sliding door to the balcony had broken off, so a rod was available to wedge against the door.
The mornings are sunny, and the haze comes in of an afternoon, so plan your activities to suit.
