This place has the feel of a nice hotel that has seen 40 years of penny pinching. Dead bugs blacken the bottoms of the fixtures, some fixtures are missing, the pool isn't lit. They do have plenty of money for security guards and signs that begin with "No" and "Don't". The tiles were partially caved in in the shower and the toiled was one of those tankless all chrome fixture models you find in dingy airports that expect a high volume of traffic. There were some biting g bugs in the room. It gets three stars instead of 1 or 2 because it's not the flee-baggiest place I have stayed, the linens, parking are fine and the staff is polite. Tip: The may be out of coffee so bring your own and the vending machines are not stocked with the same products on every machine.
Great location. Right in the middle of the restaurant and bar strip. The hotel has dated, but has a 50's island vibe. The rooms were clean and tidy. Comfy bed too. The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful.
The location is fantastic, the hotel is very basic. If you plan on being out most of the day and just need a place to crash, this place is perfect. If you are hung up on amenities, go someplace else, and break out your credit card.
The hotel was well located and very suitable. The pool seemed really great for kids (older and younger). The breakfast was disappointing. Our room was large and clean, but the bathroom was a little rundown.
Great location, cool staff, great pool cozy bed and room. A.C. on already for you, prices 117$ a night in September 2017. Just check your door lock is working proper. No diss, but ours had a small issue with locking. Either way we will be coming back. Karaoke bar right down the street and plenty of shopping as it's right on the Kona strip. All the beaches are great, of course. No Kai oi!
