Waited over 30 minutes but still got no sushi.lol They need to hire sushi chef who can work faster. They are slow as sloths.
Decent sushi, but not even close to the best conveyor belt sushi I've had. Not bad prices for Hawaii
I stopped in here with my boyfriend for dinner since we hadn't had sushi from the conveyor belt before and were pretty excited to try it. We showed up at 6pm or so and were a little disappointed to find only 1 or 2 rolls going around. Instead we were asked to probably order off the menu to get everything we wanted. So we just ordered and the food was pretty quick to come out and there were a lot of options. The prices were good too, around $2-$5 for anything. I'd recommend this place, but would say to just order right from the menu and not expect anything from the belt.
We have been coming here for years since it 1st opened. Is been declining for quite a while but today after our experience we decided that we're just not going to be able to come-back here anymore. Nobody goes to genky sushi because it's high quality sushi. It's fast and it's there and you can get in-and-out. Today when we went we had to put our name on the wait list. We were the 2nd person on the list. That's no big-deal. However there were 5 open tables with nobody at them and 3 open seats at the buffet area. the problem was that nobody was bussing the tables. At the same time there was a guy waiting at the front to pay for like 5 minutes. More people kept coming in the door waiting to be greeted and get their name on the list and the line was getting long. Still nobody is bussing the tables. Waitresses were walking around doing nothing disappearing into the back empty handed coming back out empty handed. Finally, after 20 minutes of waiting we just left. Still there were all those open tables still filled with plates, And waitresses wandering around doing absolutely nothing
