Wonderful spot for coffee, breakfast or lunch. Amazing food. Super friendly owners. Amazing view of the pay (we watched dolphins play in the water from this spot).
I've been to the restaurant twice now for Sunday Brunch. It's not posted as open on Sunday but it is, from 10-2. They have a limited menu but rest assured you can't make the wrong choice. Both my significant other and I have ordered different dishes and been impressed. The view is spectacular, there breakfast is by far the best on the island, and the place is family owned and operated. What more can you ask for Kona! If you haven't tried this place yet you're missing out!
While the restaurant does have a great view. I found the food to be okay. One major downgrade is you can't get bottomless coffee. It was $5.50 for a 16 oz coffee. No refills. The service was good, but I feel the food was lacking in both size and quality for the cost.
Food was good but expensive and tiny portions. No refills on coffee. Very limited menu. Service was good, presentation was nice, view was great, but don't go hungry or you'll leave still not full. Pineapple waffles were great!
We're on the cruise ship so we sure didn't need more food but wow are the Hawaiian pancakes good. Pineapple chunks in the batter and coconut whipped cream should be enough to make you swoon but the lilikoi syrup...oh my. Excuse me while I lick the cup! And yes the coffee is local and great.
