Thanks Nick, you have a gem of a spot. Delicious Kona prawns! Just terrible :)

This spot is awesome. Friendly service, makes you feel right at home. Food is amazing - linguini with shrimp, scallops, and asparagus gets a 10. You guys keep it up, Nick, Cody, n Josh thanks, im glad to find this place, u guys r awesome.

Very refreshing steep back from all the touristy places along Alii drive. Owner is very involved, made sure to sit down with us and chat a bit before our meals arrived. Meals are 99% of the way there, but missing some of the final details like a garnish and sauce consistency to truly be a top tier meal. However, duck was cooked perfectly, and even though the sauce was more of a marinade, the flavors blended in a uniquely delicious way.

Had a wonderful lunch there. I had the stir-fry (chicken, noodles, veggies with the Korean BBQ sauce) and my friend had the the Maui Axis deer burger plate. We were both very satisfied with the meal, and the prices ($10 for the stir-fry and $16 for the deer burger) are very reasonable for Kona. We'll certainly return.

Great food and great place to eat if you fall into the same ideology as the owner. Subtle racism and sexism was abundant, as people who support the black lives matter movement, and most of our party was queer, this was a somewhat uncomfortable setting. Someone at the table next to ours had a complaint that resulted in an argument she respectfully took out side with the chef, and being unresolved she left. A member of a large and loud party there came over and offered us drinks which was very kind but we don't drink and he strangely seemed hurt but this. The refusal to use local ingredients results in expensive prices, but the food is good and the chef is very talented. I'd be curious to see what he can do with more local ingredients. He can also have whatever beliefs he wants but wish things weren't made so uncomfortable for those with differing beliefs.
