Great ramen. Flavor in the broth was one of the best. Had lots of chicken too. Prices seem to be standard. Casual decor, service is Ok. Would definitely recommend.

Oh, this place has such good potential! The owner knows what he's doing, tries so hard, and the food is really good. What makes this place terrible is the service... I know it's Kailua-Kona and expectations should be abysmally low, yet this place always sinks lower than expectations. The servers know nothing about being servers, and though I don't think it's intentional, they do a harrowingly underwhelming job. Imagine a place where the owner knows how to prepare good food, the kitchen has been trained how to make good food, and the servers have no idea how to take your order, know nothing about said food, awkwardly bring food to you, and have a hard time communicating with you. Completely disappointing in that the food is really good and the service is so bad it negates all of this and makes it an enthusiastically "well I guess we probably shouldn't come back here" experience.
I don't like the meat. I don't know what they do, I have eaten here a few times and it tastes gamey to me. Its like they cut it up, put it in the fridge and then take it out 2 days later. That might not be the case, but that describes the taste to me. I wish it was better cause the concept is great.
Delicious food. Shaved ice place that is adjoining was tasty as well (menu below).
