I truly have loved every dish ive eaten over the years. I highly recommend you take a trip to Europe by taking a trip to La Bourgogne.
Spectacular french cuisine. The appetizers were amazing, notably, the escargot (our table ordered 4 as no one was willing to share) and the frogs legs Provençal. Extensive wine list. Charming and gracious service.
Excellent in every way. For us who live in Hawaii. It is nice to feel like you got away on a trip to Europe, even for just a few hour's. La Bourgogne is that place. From the superb service, menu uniqueness, wine list and decor.
It's a tiny place, with kids under 10 not generally allowed. Service is friendly and prompt.
One of very few high end restaurants in the Kona area. The food is spectacular, but rather pricey. When we were there, rabbit, escargot, frog legs, and duck confit were featured on the menu, but it changes.
My wife and I had a wonderful evening at La Bourgogne. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Big Island. Since most of us locals already know how good this place really is. Thank you for making our anniversary special
Very unfriendly, already when you tried to make dinner reservation. They have not even been willig to prepare a vegan dinner for my wife. Every "normal" restaurant will do it with passion. This restaurant is not "fine dining" at all.
