Food was just ok. Location was fantastic, the bird poo was definitely a minus, 1 person in the group was tagged, another person was a target. The macaroni potato salad was great up until the crunchy bit that was either an eggshell or seashell, I'm not sure. The pork nachos were good, but not so much the pork part a little dry. Waited far too long for napkins and cutlery. Had to ask another server only for them to tell me to wait and then ask who my sever was, we really didn't get a sense of any teamwork.
Pretty good food, considering the modest prices and the stellar location. The fish tacos on the pupus list were delicious.

My son ate only we ate somewhere else before we got there. He liked the fish tacos. Nice atmosphere, open air and right on the water. Nice drinks and service!
We went here before 5pm, when the leader of the band for that night (LT Smooth, great musician and all-around entertainer) was playing a quiet acoustic set by himself, with the help of a hula dancer (Joy) on the Hawaiian songs. The sun slowly set behind him. Just magical.
A lot of people have given mixed reviews of this place, but at least based on our experience, we loved it. We had a table right by the water, on the sand, on a pleasant evening. Our waitress was really friendly, knowledgeable and frequently check up on us (yet not in an overbearing way). She had great recommendations, and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. The musical entertainment was great, and everyone there just seemed to be in a good, relaxed mood. Like anything, the experience could probably be hit-or-miss, but this time around for us was a grand slam.
