This is almost a great place, if only they tweak a few things........
Our server was a male with no name tag. He acts like he's the owners son or something, like he's doing us a favor by pretending to serve us while actually ignoring us repeatedly. The other waitress, Kim, was not our server but was the only one around ever, so she checked on us and got us things our actual waiter should have- jelly for toast, coffee refills, napkins. we saw the male server at order time, food delivery, and handing us the check. Thank goodness there's at least one server there to actually help out. I gave my cash tip to Kim instead of leaving a tip on my credit card. Management needs to fire the owners son or whoever he is, because I won't go back to this restaurant if he is my server again. 3 stars because the food is okay. and Kim. If not for Kim, one star would have been my rating.
Stopped in after kayaking. We initially walked past it to another place crowded with people. So we walked back to check out Paradise and found the place almost empty. We sat ourselves with a gorgeous view overlooking the bay. Staff was friendly and quick with drinks. Food was absolutely delicious! Ordered the Have it your own way while on vacation burger and a shark bite drink. Burger was juicy and cooked perfectly. Best burger and drinks on the island so far. Reasonably priced and perfect view.
I don’t know about the food yet because we are still waiting for it. And that’s the point. I don’t care how good the food may be, service is just awful and slow. This is a seat yourself place and we waited 10 minutes for menus, 10 more minutes for drinks order, 10 more minutes to get our drinks. Placed our food order 40 minutes ago and we are still waiting and the place is practically empty at this time. It’s 3:45pm so that’s expected so what’s taking so long?
2nd edit.....from 3 2 years ago, to 1 last year, back to 3 now. I want to like this place so bad, it's in such a great location and has great views. The food is hit and miss leaning toward more misses. I've had great food, I've had terrible food. Their fries always seem a little stale. Beer can be kinda flat sometimes. Their choice of live entertainment is not always very good. Seems clean enough. I've had great cocktails here.
No idea. Wait... food finally came - burger was so so and nowhere near half a pound - however the pizza was very good and worth the price.... still not worth the wait. Surprisingly there was a 30 second lapse between the time I asked for the check and the time I got it....
Cool place. I personally don't like the self seating aspect. I feel like it could put a ton of pressure on servers. I felt bad sitting myself, but service was great. I think I had Alex, he was awesome. Good beer as well
