A month or so later I noticed an odd noise from the transmission. So I googled it and found that it was a small but known issue. Some people on the main land said they had problems with their ford dealer telling them there was nothing wrong because they couldn't reproduce the issue. So I was a little worried. I called the service dept at orchid isle and spoke with Chris, the manager. Chris said they were pretty backed up, but that I should swing by so that he could take a look at it. When I got there, they were VERY busy. Chris took time out of his day to hop in my truck and make SURE that he reproduced the issue. He then ordered the parts needed to correct the issue and scheduled me for an appointment after the parts would come in (All covered under warranty). He even had a rental car waiting for me, as the repair would take a couple days. Incredible service! Chris, you are the man!
When they called me to get a deposit it went up to $5000 over MSRP.
