Beautiful
Shore diving is a little difficult because you do need to carry your equipment over rocks to get to the shoreline but once there it's an easy in and out of a protected cove. Great coral reef, possible shark sightings, and often dolphins cruising the area.
We wanted to snorkel, it's supposed to be really interesting, but the day we were there the waters were pretty rough.
Some shade and trees for your hammock and the beach itself is a coarse sand and coral so plan on bringing a towel or beach chair. I would not recommend this if you do not like dogs.
Great dive spot and place to take your socialized dogs for an off leash adventure.
Nice little beach, hidden from the crowds. Really easy to get in the water, snorkling is good just be carefull ,sometimes currents can be strong
My sister n law and I went to the Dog Beach several times. We absolutely loved snorkeling at that spot. We seen so many beautiful fish. Yes, the dogs were so fun to watch. I love my four legged fur babies so it was not an issue. We plan to return next February and enjoy a whole month in Kona
