Quiet, peaceful, beautiful. Bring water, moderate to hard hike but worth it. If you look closely you can see snow atop Mauna Kea.
It's better to go early in the morning since we missed the view because it was cloudy in the afternoon.
Great hike! About 4 hours total including a relaxing snack on the summit.
Very good 360 view at top, mostly asphalt going up at 12 percent grade.
Has one of the most diverse ecosystems left to visit in Hawaii. Definitely great for hikers
