We wouldn't visit Kona without going for a sail with this crew

Private and Intimate. Not one of those group cattle call boats! We got married on the Big Island and one of our special events was chartering a sailboat for a day on the water with family. This turned into one of the most memorable moments in our entire life. The day was Kona perfect. Captain Elayne had the boat all ready when we arrived. There were cold drinks and munchies, and the boat was comfortable even with our group and gear. We ran into a pod of spinner dolphins and even saw a manta ray (rare during daylight hours!) The time spent sailing was easy and amazing. Captain Elayne let a few of us take turns at the helm. After sailing we motored over to a secret spot and anchored for lunch and snorkeling. Where to start? The snorkeling was some of the best in the islands with lava tubes to dive through, crystal blue water, turtles, and sea life galore! Lunch was great and we had sushi several other delights. The day was so special my family cant stop talking about it. I think they have posted 100 photos and videos on facebook already! We enjoyed the experience so much that we went back for a sunset sail later on the week. Champagne included! Experience of a lifetime.
