The entire trailer smelled like it had been smoked in for 20 years. It was actually unbearable. We are non-smokers and had an 8 month old so this was just not acceptable. Our clothes smelled like smoke after 1 day....gross. You would walk by the trailer and it was just disgusting. Terrible.
The second thing was that the bathroom smelled of urine so bad it couldn't be used. This wasn't the end of the world because we didn't need to use it, but it leaked through the walls it was so strong. The best part was that when we kicked on the heater on a cooler night.....urine came right out the vents. It was horrible.
I was travelling from the states back to Vancouver Island to spend a week up at the lake with friends. I contacted John and he provided rates and required a $300 deposit. The whole deposit process didn't go quite as planned since I was down in the States....anyways I ended up mailing a certified check to him to secure the trailer. It's definitely a downfall not having a way to pay online to reserve or pay in full for the service. Upon arrival, the trailer was set up as promised....then the bad news.
I paid $1000 for 9 nights which I figured was reasonable, but I can't give a good review to this company. It was the worst I had ever seen and would never recommend them to anyone else. I should get my money back but that won't happen. Anyways, I won't return for their service and I urge others to check out their trailer before you agree for it to be delivered.
