Haven't been diving for 6 years but thanks to Frank i felt save and so it was my best night dive ever! We booked last minute; 30min before departure but the team still made it happen. Small group on the boat made chill hang out before we went diving / snorkeling. Instruction by the crew was super and we felt safe & good taken care off! In general it's a quite crowded area since there many boots out _ but see the manta ray dance (partly) 20cm in front of your face makes you forget all other people!
The dive sites were great, the boat has good snacks and water, and everyone was very knowledgeable.
I was diving for the first time after got my certification , I was bit nervous but the professional instructions helped me to comfort after getting in the water , truly instructions are very knowledgeable and professionals. I had my best two dives with lots of confidence. Night time mantra rays dive is outstanding , lucky to see few mantra rays up close
Did my final dives for Open Water Diver with them. They were recommended by my local shop High Plains Scuba. I could not have been happier. They were kind, considerate and most important very competent. I did 5 dives with them over 3 days including my first night dive. I can't wait for a chance to go back and dive with them again!
Wonderful dive shop with fantastic staff! I had some issues with another dive shop while trying to get certified before my vacation, and Kona Honu did everything they could to help get me certified quickly and with minimal additional costs. My instructor, Rob, was an awesome educator and made sure I knew everything I needed to in a very relaxed but thorough manner.
Though we did not see any Manta during our night snorkel we still had a awesome bucket list wish fulfilled. Just getting in the water at night with no moon was a omg moment. Wish we could have gone back but our time on the island had come to a close. Mahalo to Jeanine our guide for helping me overcome my fear of getting in the water and then assisting my husband who lost his snorkel and she gave him hers...and also to Captain Bob and the other crew members mahalo.
