Beautiful condo! RIGHT on the beach. well stocked kitchen and Washer/Dryer were so helpful. Very clean and lovely. I highly recommend! We watched surfers and turtles right from the condo!
Ocean front lodging at this price is extremely rare. Both condos are very nicely furnished. The full kitchen saves me a lot of money. There is no restaurant with a better view of the ocean than my private lanai! With a car, the town of Kona and other attractions on the Big Island are readily accessible. My biggest challenge is pulling myself away from the lanai to visit the many other wonderful places that the Big Island has to offer. I love the Big Island and I love staying at Sunny Kona Condos.
This is by far the most relaxing and inviting place that I have stayed in Hawaii. The condos themselves are wonderful (I have stayed in both), with all the amenities that you would want AND an incredible view. Sitting on the lanai is like sitting on the edge of the Pacific in ones own private space. The sound of the waves rolling is absolutely fabulous and there is no better lullaby to sleep with. The nearby Kona town center is such a fun place with plenty of nightlife including luau's, clubs, restaurants, cruises, shopping, etc. On a day trip to the other side of the island I had the amazing experience of hiking at Volcano National Park and watching the lava flow. On another day, visiting and touring the nearby Historic Kona Coffee Plantation was fascinating. "Sunny Kona Condos" is the ideal location to relax and enjoy spectacular beauty, and to leave from for daily adventures like snorkeling, boogy boarding, hiking, and exploring. It is the perfect place for the perfect escape from "realilty"!
I have stayed in many different places on visits to Hawaii over the years. Sunny Kona Condos are by far my favorites -- to fall asleep listening to waves pounding on rocks, to sit on the private lanai and watch the surfers and birds while drinking a morning cup of coffee, to meander around the rocks in front of the property watching giant sea turtles and other sealife, drinking in magnificent sunsets --it just doesn't get much better than this!
Wow, is all you have to say!!! Imagine drinking Kona coffee every morning after awaking to the sound of the surf. Gentle breezes with fresh ocean air, will freshen your inner self. There is always a surfer or many to entertain. See the turtles daily, they are amazing. We barbecued fresh fish and ate on the lanai every evening, how relaxing. We enjoyed shopping, a luau and site seeing on this incredible island. You know we will visit again as soon as possible.
This place was great. It was in an awesome location right by the water. It was very clean and had all the necessities for a relaxing vacation.
